Swim Meet Recap: PV vs. Cornerstone vs. Fletcher (September 12, 2024)
We are excited to share the great news from our recent tri-meet against Cornerstone and Fletcher. The entire team performed exceptionally well, and it was clear that their hard work in practice is paying off.
We kicked off the meet with a strong showing in the Girls 200 Medley Relay, where both our A and B teams placed first and second. It was a fantastic start, setting the tone for the rest of the competition. The boys' team followed up with equally impressive results in their relay events, including a standout performance in the 400 Freestyle Relay, where they secured first place.
Our swimmers excelled across all events. In the individual medley and breaststroke events, our athletes showed tremendous skill and determination, securing multiple top finishes. The endurance events, particularly the 500 Freestyle, were also a highlight, with our team taking the top two spots. It’s always great to see our swimmers push themselves in the longer races, and their effort really stood out.
The sprint events, including the 50 Freestyle and 100 Freestyle, were another area where we demonstrated our strength. Our team consistently placed in the top three, showing the depth and versatility that make us competitive across all distances.
One of the most encouraging aspects of the meet was seeing the teamwork and sportsmanship on display. Whether it was in the relays or individual events, our swimmers supported one another and competed with great focus and spirit. This is a testament to their character and commitment to the team.
Thank you, parents, for your unwavering support of our athletes. We’re incredibly proud of what they’ve achieved so far, and we’re excited to see how the rest of the season unfolds. The team is gaining momentum, and we’re confident that their best performances are yet to come.

Swim Meet Recap: WHS vs. Ponte Vedra vs. WPS (September 14, 2024)
Ponte Vedra came out strong in their tri-meet against Windermere High School and Windermere Prep, showcasing their depth and resilience throughout the competition. The team excelled in both individual and relay events, proving they are a dominant force in the pool.
From the opening relays to the final freestyle events, Ponte Vedra swimmers displayed a blend of speed and endurance. Their team spirit was evident as they consistently finished near the top across a wide range of events. The athletes’ hard work and focus were on full display, with exceptional performances that highlighted their skill in both sprint and distance races.
The meet also highlighted the depth of Ponte Vedra’s team. Whether it was in the medley relays or the longer endurance races, they were able to consistently place multiple swimmers in the top ranks, underscoring their strength across all strokes and distances.
Ponte Vedra’s coaching staff emphasized the importance of teamwork and strategy, and the results reflected their well-rounded approach. Overall, Ponte Vedra set a high standard for the season and solidified their reputation as a team to watch as they continue to build momentum.
