Hello PVHS Swim & Dive Families! This email includes information about next years' Swim and Dive season and athletic clearance.

We will not be having a May parent meeting to discuss the upcoming season this year. This email contains the information that has previously been discussed at past years' meetings. The main takeaway is the importance of completing a physical and athletic clearance as soon as possible to avoid waiting for last-minute approvals in order to attend try-outs.

Next season's athletic clearance link has not yet been activated.  We will send out an email when the link is live. 

To begin working on athletic clearance for the upcoming season, please go to

https://athleticclearance.com and provide the information and documents that are needed to clear your student to participate in swim and/or dive this fall. The documents you will need are listed below:

-Current Physical Signed and filled out by your student athlete's Pediatrician or Care Provider. Only submit page 4. Physical form attached.
-Certificate of Completion: NFHS "Concussion in Sports"
-Certificate of Completion: NFHS "Heat Illness Prevention"
-Certificate of Completion: NFHS "Sudden Cardiac Arrest"

The 3 free online courses can be found at www.nfhslearn.com. Please complete all of the courses and download the completion certificates once finished to upload for athletic clearance.

The PVHS swim and dive registration link will be communicated once registration opens, but please complete your physicals and athletic clearance ASAP. It can take time for it to be approved and Coach Kyle cannot allow your student athlete to participate in open swim or tryouts without this completed.

Tryouts will be held Tuesday 8/11/26, Wednesday 8/12/26 and Thursday 8/13/26 at Planet Swim. The team will be announced on Friday, 8/14/26. Tryout times will be emailed at at a later date. Once your swimmer or diver has made the roster, please bring a check for the total due (amount at the time of registration) on the first day of practice. Checks are the preferred method of payment.

We are currently in the process of updating the website with the meet schedule for next year and it will be up for viewing soon.
