Very Important-Weekly Updates 8/31-9/6
Hello Shark Families!
Sorry to start off with bad news but, TUESDAY'S MEET HAS BEEN CANCELED! I do not have any details other than Coach Kyle will try to get the meet with Fernandina rescheduled.
We will still have our Spirit Night at the Loop (Nocatee) on Tuesday from 4:00-9:00pm - details below.
On to more positive updates and news: Thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated and came out to have your car washed on Saturday! The kids had fun, parents got their car cleaned (kind of) and the team made some money...a win for all! We are so grateful to Smith Eye Associates for letting us use their parking lot and water, and for being one of our business sponsors this season.
Congratulations to Team Black, who was victorious after the girls/boys completed the Blue v. Black meet during their practices last week. The results are attached, but can also be found in Swimtopia under the Results tab. Thank you to those that showed up to volunteer at those early morning times!
Here's what you need to know about the week ahead:
- Tuesday, September 1st - Spirit Night at the Loop (Nocatee)
- The team will receive 15% of all sales from 4:00-9:00pm. This includes take out and dine in orders
- You must mention PVHS SWIM at the counter
- Take the night off from cooking and dine-in or take home dinner while supporting the team!
- Mandatory practice this week is Tuesday (Girls)/Thursday (Boys)
- There will be several opportunities to host a dinner for boys/girls teams (separately) throughout the season. If you have any interest, please let me know!
- We are still in need of a Booster Liaison and a Secretary (Communications) for next year. Please reach out if you would like more information.
- We are 72% of the way for our Snap Fundraising goal of $20,000, with 15 days remaining. Please continue to encourage family, friends, colleagues, and neighbors to donate!
As always, please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns.
GO SHARKS!!
